Kidtoons: Movie Fun For Young Kids

In 2004, KIDTOONS hit on a way to make life easier for parents. The movie company teamed up with toy giant HASBRO to develop movies based on toys that are appropriate for taking young children to see.

After that, Kidtoons expanded and teamed up with Sesame Street, National Geographic and many others, to bring a wide variety of G-rated animated entertainment to the screen every weekend at participating theatres across the country.

Every Saturday and Sunday, Kidtoons theatres showcased a fun, G-rated matinee movie and provided a family experience filled with entertaining, kid-friendly characters, as well as cartoon shorts, music videos and sing-alongs before each movie. They even had fun giveaways for the kids, such as stickers, temporary tattoos, activity books or toys after every film.

Here area a few of the films that were the result of this effort that are appropriate for young children. If you are trying to put together a movie themed gift package for a young child or just have a child who is really into a certain film, you will appreciate the interesting toys that are available to link up with each film.

The following titles have been included. Where indicated, you can click through to my page about a specific movie and theme.
