Kate Hudson's Isadora Diamond

Kate Hudson's wore $14,200,000 worth of jewels in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days. Those pieces included the Isadora Diamond.
If you did not see the movie How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days and you love jewelry, you need to see it.  The part of the movie near the end in which women attending the Warner Advertising Gala are offered the opportunity to FROST themselves with diamonds provided by Harry Winston is truly amazing.

Andie Anderson (played by Kate Hudson) enters in a beautiful yellow cocktail dress designed by the film’s costume designer Karen Patch to work perfectly on Kate and with the Isadora Diamond.  She looks lovely but when she puts on the Isadora Diamond, she is simply stunning. Really, I don’t think I will ever forget that moment. The necklace suited the dress and Andie perfectly.

The 87-carat diamond pendent Andie wore was designed for Kate Hudson to wear in this movie and is worth 5 million dollars although, it is said that she used a 'stunt double' in the movie that was worth $10,000.  As an interesting aside, IMDB reports that the movie used $14,200,000 worth of jewels in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days.

If you love the Isadora Diamond Necklace, you might be interested in owning a reproduction of the piece like the one shown above. It is a fake but still a fun and pretty piece. See for yourself here on Amazon.

Whether you chose to wear a perfectly coordinating yellow dress to look exactly like Andie or you pair it with a black dress, it is up to you and, of course, if you love a good romantic comedy, that is reason enough to see check out Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days.

See you
at the movies!
